This is a total waste of money. I tried it with a variety of needles and finally found one that it would thread, sometimes.

I purchased this to use for cross stitch, but when I received it, I saw that the package back indicates it is only for sewing needles with an oval shaped eye - not for embroidery needles with an elongated eye. I wish the description had stated such.

Got this for my mom, whose vision and accuracy for threading needles isn't what it used to be. She loves it, and tells me it's such a handy and simple gadget to have around.
